ABOUT Quinn
“I am obsessed with story. It is a passion of mine delving into what makes us human, what brings us together, what divides us, what makes us who we are, our vulnerabilities and our strengths.
I love exploring the light and the shadows of the human experience, and even within myself through my work.
The colour is just as important as the contrast.”

About Quinn
Quinn is a multidimensional human, artist, visionary and passionate lover
of an expertly crafted coffee made with love.
She was born in Melbourne, Australia, before her family moved to a regional town where she spent much of her childhood climbing trees, cultivating a vegetable garden, burying herself in historical novels and films, and orchestrating musical concerts for her family and friends.
Quinn, known for her vintage aesthetic and love of retrofuturism, is also an internationally published model and award-winning pin-up competition participant.
In 2019, Quinn was invited to model for Curators’ Talk celebrating the release of the critically acclaimed film, The Dressmaker, with Writer, Rosalie Ham, Film Director, Jocelyn Moorhouse and Costume Designer, Marion Boice.
Quinn’s love of film shone through at an early age. She enjoyed re-enacting various scenes from the books she read or films she watched with her grandmother and friends, many of which were period dramas or prohibition era centred films. Her talent for acting was recently discovered through a serendipitous meeting with an author who came with a powerful life story during an radio interview in Sydney, Australia.
It was through that meeting that led to her first lead acting role in the recent Australian short film, called Say My Name, which has been garnering international recognition and critical acclaim.
Quinn recently received her first award as Best Actress in Milan, Italy, and a Nomination for Best Actress in, Athens, Greece, for her lead role as “Mel” in the film based on the powerful true story, Sleeping Under the Bridge, winner of over 90 international film awards.
Quinn is also the writer, director and creative producer of several of her own movies under her production company, Quinn Art & Film, including An Artist’s Journey, The Twisted Tale of Bootsie Banx and Iridescence which are set to have their screen debut late 2025.
As part of her artistic ethos, Quinn dedicates herself to the consistent practice of meditation, mantra, mindfulness and breath work, and she incorporates elements of the Alexander Technique focussing on posture, poise and the intentional use of the body through conscious awareness.
Quinn is a member of several organisations including Women in Film and Television Australia (WIFT) and the Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC).
Quinn is currently in the early development stages for two features, both original pieces, which will feature an impressive international collaboration of artists, actors, performers and filmmakers.
“For me, performing is about the authentic, inspired delivery of the story in the moment.
It’s about the connection I feel with my audience and the people I am working with.
That’s magick for me.”

Musical Background
At the age of two, Quinn already showed musical promise giving her family and friends concerts on her little red keyboard in the small country town in Australia where she grew up. She commenced formal piano lessons at five and was already composing her own music. With dedication from her teachers and mentors, Quinn developed a high level of musicianship and went on to achieve practical recognition for classical piano, flute and voice with the Australian Music Examinations Board.
At the age of eight, she had recorded her first studio flute CD and at 11, was awarded the Most Outstanding Musician Award at the Northern Rivers Academy of Music along with the opportunity to perform with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
A few years later, Quinn’s piano teacher, Marjorie Glanville, a renowned classical pianist, pipe organist and accompanist, discovered her innate ability for perfect (absolute) pitch, which is defined by the University of Chicago as a “person's ability to identify any musical note by name after hearing it, without reference to other notes (Witynski, n.d.).”
Quinn went onto develop her singing ability, studying with the internationally recognised Soprano and Director of ProMusica Arizona Chorale and Orchestra, Patti Graetz, and Mezzo-Soprano, Brownyn Powell, who classified Quinn as a Dramatic Coloratura Soprano with an extensive vocal range.
Her vocal repertoire includes Mozart’s “Queen of the Night Aria,”
”Mesicku na nebi hlubokem (Song to the Moon)” by Dvorák, and
“Les oiseaux dans la charmille (The Doll Song)” by Offenbach.
Following in the footsteps of her Irish grandfather who conducted choirs around the world and her father, a former choirboy in England, Quinn has directed choirs, bands and ensembles as part of her work. Quinn’s performances,
solo and collaborative, typically feature her own compositions and original arrangements, and are warmly received by a wide range of audiences.
Quinn is now a member of the Australian Guild of Screen Composers and her work continues to garner various awards and critical acclaim. The deeply emotive score from, Say My Name (2023), one of her most recent commissions as film composer, has been receiving positive reviews from critics, international judging panels and from private audiences prior to its official release.
Quinn continues to collaborate with other musicians and artists in the music and film industries with several films and artistic projects already in the pipeline for the coming year, and was recently featured on the 2025 Australian TV Show, Australian Idol.
Her musical influences include Enya, Thomas Newman, Rachel Portman, Elton John, Hans Zimmer, Amy Lee, Nightwish and Tarja Turunen.
